Processing your data, enabling your business
We are a team of technologists, web developers, and designers dedicated to the creation of straight-through workflows designed to enable the business of variable data printing (VDP) to provide the benefits of data analysis and print on demand.
Under the leadership of Professor Allen Long from Atlanta, Georgia, USA - a recognised expert in e-commerce and advanced data analysis - we have developed techniques to take customer data from a wide variety of sources and in a wide range of formats and make that data work in the VDP and personalised communications arenas.
Our key driver is to keep the cost of converting a customer's VDP idea into real printed output down to the minimum while simultaneously ensuring that their data is properly handled and understood. Heavy use of computer automation is at the heart of this approach, and this in turn means that the data is processed and reported on very thoroughly to ensure maximum return value to the customer. Where practical we will often go much further than this and provide the means to return considerable added value from the processing of that data through our advanced analysis and data mining solutions.
We take away the need for commercial printers to make large investments in VDP data processing technologies, and in the staff needed to operate such complex systems, and allow them to focus on their core business strengths of printing and offering managed solutions to their customers.
A major project for www.MVPPICS.com demonstrates our capability in linking together web-based customer access, full and comprehensive e-commerce capability, instant variable data proofing, a fully automated print workflow with the option of either local or distant fulfilment, and order data analysis and tracking.
In the UK, our own www.myteamselection.com goes even further by allowing full customisation and personalisation of posters, graphics and, in the future, other printed products, on demand. Through this venture, our technical expertise is proven to be the leading edge of print technology and is unique to us at this time.
We are members of the British Printing Industries Federation BPIF
(www.bpif.org.uk) and the US formed International Digital Printing Initiative PODi (www.podi.org).
